Apple Earnings Today: Time, Estimates and What to Watch
Apple earnings for fiscal Q4 2026 arrive Nov. 2 after the bell, with the call at 5 p.m. ET. Wall Street expects $113 billion in revenue and EPS near $2.

Quick read
Apple earnings for its fiscal fourth quarter of 2026 come out Monday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. Pacific (4:30 p.m. Eastern), after the stock market closes. CEO John Ternus and CFO Kevan Parekh take questions on a call at 2 p.m. Pacific (5 p.m. Eastern), streamed on Apple's investor site. Analysts expect about $113 billion in revenue and earnings of roughly $2 a share, Reuters reported. It is Ternus' first earnings call as Apple's chief executive.
Key takeaways
- The quarter ran from June 28 to Sept. 26, so it catches launch-week iPhone 18 Pro sales but none of the iPhone Duo, which went on sale Oct. 23.
- Apple's own outlook called for 9% to 11% revenue growth and a gross margin of 47% to 48%, down from 50.1% the quarter before.
- Apple closed Friday at $344.63, worth about $5.03 trillion and back ahead of Nvidia as the world's most valuable company.
In this article
Apple reports its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings on Monday, Nov. 2, after the closing bell, and this one carries more weight than usual. It is the first quarterly call for new CEO John Ternus, it comes days after a tech selloff that Yahoo Finance says erased about $5 trillion from the biggest AI and chip stocks, and Apple walks in as the most valuable company in the world again.
The numbers drop at 1:30 p.m. Pacific (4:30 p.m. Eastern). Ternus and CFO Kevan Parekh go on the call half an hour later, according to MacRumors, which spotted the date on Apple's investor page in early October.

Apple earnings date and time
Here is the schedule for Monday:
| What | When (Pacific) | When (Eastern) |
|---|---|---|
| Results posted | 1:30 p.m. | 4:30 p.m. |
| Earnings call begins | 2:00 p.m. | 5:00 p.m. |
| First full trading session | Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the open | Tuesday, Nov. 3, 9:30 a.m. |
The release goes up on Apple's newsroom and investor site, and the call streams live at apple.com/investor/earnings-call. After Apple's July call, the company kept the webcast up for replay for about two weeks, per that quarter's release.
Shares will move in after-hours trading first, so expect the swings to start around 4:30 p.m. Eastern rather than the next morning.
Apple earnings expectations: what Wall Street wants
Analysts are looking for earnings of about $2 a share on roughly $113 billion in revenue, Reuters reported early Monday. A year ago, Apple earned $1.85 a share in the same quarter.
That revenue figure sits inside the range Apple gave in July. On that call, Parekh said September-quarter revenue would grow 9% to 11% from a year earlier, with currency moves taking about 2.5 points off growth, according to The Motley Fool's transcript. He also guided for a gross margin of 47% to 48%, including roughly one point from tariff refunds.
So a "beat" on revenue alone may not impress anyone. The more telling numbers are probably elsewhere.
Gross margin and memory costs
Apple's gross margin hit 50.1% in the June quarter, but about two points of that came from tariff refunds. The September guide is lower partly because that cushion shrinks.
The other pressure is memory. Executives warned in July that memory costs would keep rising and that supply constraints would get worse across iPhone, Mac and iPad. Those chips cost more because AI data centers are soaking up so much of the world's DRAM and NAND supply. If the margin comes in at the bottom of the range, or Apple guides lower for the holiday quarter, that is likely what gets the attention.
iPhone 18 Pro and the holiday outlook
The quarter ran from June 28 to Sept. 26, so it includes launch-week sales of the iPhone 18 Pro, MacRumors noted. It also covers the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5, which all came out during those weeks.
What it doesn't include is the foldable iPhone Duo, which went on sale Oct. 23. Early Duo buyers have been reporting cracked screens, and we covered Apple's response to the "Crackgate" complaints last month. Analysts may well ask about it, even though the sales won't show up until the December quarter.
Apple doesn't give exact forecasts, but it usually offers a growth range for the next quarter. That outlook for the holidays could matter more to the stock than anything in the September numbers.
Why this Apple earnings report matters more than usual
A new CEO's first call
Tim Cook led the July call as chief executive. On Monday, Ternus takes the questions as CEO for the first time. Investors will listen for how he talks about Apple's AI plans, Siri and spending. Cook introduced the new Siri AI at WWDC26 in June, and Ternus' answers on where it goes next will get picked apart.
The AI selloff that Apple mostly sat out
October was rough for tech. The Nasdaq lost almost 7% for the month, its worst since April 2025, Reuters said. Intel fell nearly 29% on Friday alone after a weak forecast. Alphabet and Amazon both disappointed last week.
Apple mostly avoided the damage, because it doesn't pour tens of billions into data centers the way its rivals do. Its stock still slipped 1.2% on Friday to close at $344.63. Even so, Apple ended the week worth about $5.03 trillion, ahead of Nvidia at about $4.93 trillion, and it's the only "Magnificent Seven" stock beating the S&P 500 this year, up about 27% against roughly 11% for the index, according to Yahoo Finance.
That run cuts both ways. A stock that has held up while everything around it fell has less room for disappointment.
How Apple did last quarter
For context, here's where Apple stood after the June quarter, from its fiscal Q3 2026 results:
- Revenue: $109.4 billion, up 16%, a record for a June quarter.
- iPhone: $54.3 billion, up 22%.
- Services: $30.7 billion, up 12%.
- Mac: $10.4 billion, up 29%.
- iPad: $6.2 billion, down 6%.
- Earnings: $2.02 a share, including 11 cents from tariff refunds.
Services, which covers the App Store, iCloud, Apple Music and AppleCare, is Apple's highest-margin business. Strong Services growth is one way Apple can absorb higher hardware costs, so watch that line closely.
What else is on the calendar this week
Apple isn't the only report on Monday. Palantir also posts results after the bell, and AMD follows on Tuesday, Yahoo Finance noted. Tuesday is also Election Day for the midterms, and the October jobs report lands Friday.
If you're following the Mac side of Apple, the M6 MacBook Pro and iMac go on sale Friday, Nov. 6, too late for this report but early enough to show up in the holiday numbers.
The headline numbers hit at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. What Ternus and Parekh say about the holidays half an hour later is the part most likely to set the tone for Tuesday's trading.
